App to keep Playbook on?
I have seen some threads about the fact that RIM chose to not let us decide if we want our Playbooks to go into sleep mode, but I have also seen some post that there are apps that will do this, but no mention of the apps name.
I have searched and searched, can anyone point me in the right direction please? - 06-15-2011, 07:58 AM #2
Silentnoise is said to work, but I dont see how it would do this nor see any reports
that it actually does.
This would be a good app for someone to make.

SilentNoise will allow the PB to avoid standby mode (and you do not have to play any of its sounds but I _THINK_ it may have to be the foreground app with the streaming music in the background)

Yes F2 is correct. I use Silent noise and it has to be in the foreground to prevent it going to sleep. I think some of the clock apps will do the same as well.
There was a thread yesterday in the main forum where a member has written their own solution and they provided the .bar file.
I will try and find the thread and post in here.
