The Youtube app on the Playbook is brutal. I like it on the browser. In the app i find there is an EXTREME lack of options. Not to mention when i search for a song, it sends me 50 links to some kid playing it on Guitar Hero and never an actual music video.

Just to answer your post, mine works. I rarely look at YouTube, bug it does indeed work. I just watched a 720p clip that was pretty stunning.

My app has the same issue, cannot play video. I realize YouTube.com works much better, but it's not like I chose this YouTube app nor can I delete it.

Many videos cannot be played regardless I am on bridge or wifi. I'll just use the full site.

My youtube is working fine, no issue

mine is working for some and showing error for some. IIRC it started when 2.1 launched, and is due to the flash player version mismatch.
