    I notice since FB bought whatsapp, converted bar whatsapp won't work anymore
    I try version 2.11.240 and latest 2.11.264, but no luck
    Try using latest PB OS 2.1.0.1917

    Because the Whatsapp uses a phone number and text messaging data we won't see that app in a usable form for the PlayBook.

    I don't think this is the issue
    I use google voice for phone number and can receive sms too
    I have no problem using whatsapp v.2.11.200
    It's just time to time, whatsapp force to update newer release then I cannot use v.2.11.200 anymore

    you can just use another handset to register its number and then use it o. your playbook.

    mine stopped working few weeks ago when they upgraded.
