I have splashtop on my playbook and I have Windows 8 installed on my secondary PC, and Im enjoying it, but sometimes I really do want to utilize touch for it. However, it is not very functional using Splashtop, since its designed for XP/Vista/7 style navigation, and is incapable of horizontal scrolling without a scrollbar, which is a necessity for Windows 8. I use a wireless keyboard with built in touchpad which works fine, but for some Windows 8 utilization isn't as good as pure touch. I think I've seen app development for this in the android market, anything going on in the PB front, or am I gonna have to get an Ipad or android basically?

Have a look at Remote Desktop by Todd Grayson, We use that every day - and it works pretty good. Combine it with a BlackBerry Keyboard to your Playbook , and you are good to go...
With the special Keyboard additions in this app, pushing any keystroke onto your host is easy


NO special software needed on the host side ... the app uses regular RDP

so nothing needs to be installed on the computer like there is with Splashtop? So is it only going to show input options on the PB? I will have to give this a try, or hope that Splashtop hasn't forgotten about us PB users and brings over Splashtop2, which apparently is Windows 8 Compliant.
