Good evening everyone,
I post this message because I have converted an apk to a bar file, however I have encountered the issue described in the last posts (Invalid arguments entered). I have applied the advices available but I still have the same error.
I have seen here ( ) that we can use the command prompt to sign the .bar.
Do you know we can do that ?

I converted several APKs to BARS ........ signed them ..... and have them working on my PB in preparation for a Z10.
It appears to me that a lot of the information/instructions posted here are outdated (or I'm a moron).
The biggest hastle was signing the BAR files. I finally tired something that worked. All of the instructions I found use a <-cskpass> in the coding to sign apps. Apparently Blackberry changed this to <-csjpin>. So everywhere you try and use a <-cskpass> you have to substiute code/command for <-csjpin>. At least that's what worked for me. After I figured that out it worked like a charm.
I could never get signbar-HaTaX.bat to work ...... the reason (it appears to me) is that it asks for and uses <cskpassord=> . Apparently the Blackberry signing process has been changed or updated and uses the <csjpin> instead.
To set up for signing once I had my .csj files I used these instructions from Blackberry.
Then to sign my .BAR files..... I had to use these instructions at Step .10 inserting and using -csjpin everywhere the instructions use -csvpass
And yes .... you have to go through the process twice as it says in Step 10.
TIP: Put your .BAR files in the "bin" subdirectory where you are working ..... it makes life easier to me.
Sideloading is simple once you have the signed .BAR files.

Signing BAR Files
Thanks for the update. I am getting a "usage" (syntax) using apk2bar-HaTax.bat or even entering the signing command directly. I have tried entering the command multiple ways with no success. Here is a command example entered in the "apk2bar" directory where I placed the .bar file for simplification:
java -Xmx512M -jar lib\BatchBARSigner-18.104.22.168.jar MyBARFile.bar c:\PathToMyp12File DevCertpw CSKpw
I get this in return:
batchbar-signer <bar-dir>|<bar-file> <dev cert path> <dev cert password> [<csk password>][-t <target signed bar(s) dir>]
A directory containing source bars or a single .bar file
<dev cert path>
The developer certificate store path (*.p12)
<dev cert password>
The developer certificate store password
Optional csk password for RIM Key Signing or same as the store pass
[-t <target signed bar(s) dir>]
Optional target directory for signed bar(s)
If omitted, the source dir will be the target
What am I missing? Thanks for your help!
