Transferring pictures with BB Mesenger

I am having trouble transferring pictures with two othe BB users. As far as I know, I am using the latest version of BB Messenger (How can I tell for sure what version I am using?). When they send me a picture through Messenger it is very small to view, and when I accept it to save the message I get is 0 kb recieved and I have no picture to view (just a placeholder icon).

I am having the same problem. We used to be able to just view the pics and not have to download them, how come we cant do that now? And even when i go to download it doesn't ever come through..

I'm not sure if this is the same for every BB as I haven't used one until now, but it should be close if not the same.
Home screen -> Options -> Advanced -> Applications -> look for BlackBerry Messenger and you'll see the version number to the right of it.

I'm not sure what's causing you not to receive pictures though. I've never had this problem. Sorry I couldn't help more.
