Storm cant connect to my Mac

Hey all,

im new to blackberry and was loading the software to connect my Storm to my mac. All went well until i tryed to Sync the two, the blue bar went about 3/4 across and it came up with "[11:06:41.060] Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping."

is there something on the BB i need to change? is it on my computer?

I believe you need the mac version of the desktop manager. I think you can get it from your service provider or download it that could be the problem unless you already figured it out and it was something else then disregard this post thanks

ok im running the latest version of the new mac software on my macbook. I have a storm. i want to update my phone. im at the welcome desktop manager screen. it says connect your devise, the devise is connected fine and charging but nothing happens. Its not syncing. Anyone know what to do?
