pop email need help

Okay I'm on a bes blackberry how do I set up pop email IT is saying that we're required to purchase servers and licenses is this true? or is there a work around I figured if anyone would know it would be the nation

Often if you have BES, you also have BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) enabled. This should mean you can go through the email setup wizard on the device and add personal POP3 or IMAP email accounts
