Can't install DM 4.7 on Vista

I've looked at other threads, and did the following

7. A message should appear stating "DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded."
8. Click OK and try installing Desktop Manager again.

This worked for me, hope it works for you.


It didn't work.... any suggestions?

click start button got to search box type msconfig press enter when dialog box opens look for tools tab on click on it once inside scroll to botton disable uac and reinstall dm 4.7 you can reverse this from the same menu when your done

mine did it okay and i have the top spec of vista which is odd...
