BBM Location

I contacted my service provider to find out this information but that said it is not available so I am reaching out here to find out if they are telling me the truth or if there is another way to locate this information (GPS is not activated).

Is there anyway to determine what city and state you were in when you sent a BBM>

Law enforcement with a warrant may be able to find out that sort of info, but it's not available to the user. If your GPS was working, you could take a screen shot of your location on Google Maps and send the picture via BBM to establish your location.

I don't believe there is any way for the other person to find out. Is that what you are asking?
