winmo 7 on hd2....

I saw a video of winmo 7 running on a htc hd2. Does anyone know if you can run it on the touch pro 2?

The video has been proven fake. They are just running the winmo 7 emulator on the hd2 and none of the actual features like calling and sms work. So technically yes you could probably run it on the touch pro 2 but it would be absolutely useless and incredibly slow

wm7 wasn't really supposed to be an "upgrade". It's a new OS for new hardware.

but at xda-developers they will find a way to port it the other phones, i think the TP2 will be able to run it, slow maybe, but if u want to test it out before buying another WinMo phone, u can give it a try.. microsoft has said about "non-upgradeable" everytime they release a new OS, and still all the phones end up using them
