Default Windows Phone 7.

I have to say, looks like Windows could be stepping way forward with this new OS. It looks to be a huge step forward and like nothing else on the market.

I'm really impressed with the OS MSFT has created. I love the Zune HD UI and now having the opportunity to use this UI on a phone has me excited.

I can't wait to try it out first hand end of this year.

So far, Samsung and HTC are onboard (only Samsung has shown prototypes; the phone MS has been showing is a Samsung). A simulator for developers is available now (requires at minimum Vista or 7). Development for Windows Phone is actually, if anything, *easier* than development for BBs (especially if you are used to development for Windows; I have RIM's dev tools and just grabbed the WP7 dev tools today); the one advantage RIM has is that they have product out there today.

Personally not that impressed with the look of windows phone 7 series, obviously I have no idea how it functions so I can't comment on that side of things, but the look of the OS is really blocky and jaunty and doesn't look to be an intuitive experience at all.

hi sorry if this question was asked before. I might be interested in picking up a HTC touch pro2 for Sprint. My question is will the OS be able to be upgraded to windows 7, or are pro2 owners stuck with what it has.

i guess my question was answered partially. the TP2 will be getting windows 6.5 update. but my question is still u think windows 7 would be a possibility. lastly what are some differences between windows 6.1 and 6.5 all i know is that 6.5 is much better, but what makes it better... any opinions appreciated
