A gaming phone? Please. And I thought having the internet on the phone was excessive.

Shouldn't this be in the Android section? And I agree with ssbtech. The PS phone seems as useless as the HTC surround. Really, who needs a phone with a gaming pad or a phone with slide out speakers? Both seem stupid.

Is this a serious question? Obviously someone who uses a phone and likes to play video games. Why carry around a PSP (for those who do) and a phone when you can have it all in one device? I thought it was quite obvious.

Yes, it is a serious question. You can play games on a PSP that you can't play on an android phone/PS phone.

I like to play video games too & I'm sure this will help developers with new games. But really? A gaming phone? Its not practical. Again, shouldn't this be in the android section?

With the way mobile gaming is today, it is actually a very good idea. Nintendo and Sony are already feeling the heat from Apples App Store games and several big named developing companies have entered smartphone app stores.

This device is designed for certain people. Mobile gaming is most likely practical for them.

Yes this should be in the Android section. Report the thread if you want it moved.

A PSPhone? I'm intrigued...Shame there are not a lot of details about it at the moment. If they brought it to Verizon, I might head out to a store and play with it...but I would much rather game on my console.

Maybe should be in the android forums, but not interested in the os itself. If it were up to me it would be os5 on bb lol. The way I see it is its own little smartphone that can be a psp, but we don't have a mixed gadget forum lol.

Its a very different phone and real innovative. My 2 cents.

I also hope this isn't the final design, but the psp was awkward from out of the box anyway.

I think this may be a little too much. I mean, why do you need this? I'm sure everyone has their own personal wants, but geez. I mean honestly!!

I foresee a battery longevity issue for this one. I mean, what current smartphone has a good battery life? How will they make that work for something that is supposed to run the large screen for longer periods of time?

So a person doesn't have to carry their smartphone and a PSP? It's a convergence device.

There sure will be battery issues. You will need an extended battery and possibly a spare and multiple chargers. But, I am guessing most people who will buy this device already know this.

I just now thought of the battery lol...true, maybe if they stuck with the psp battery it won't...but I don't see them doing that. But I do always have a charger for my bb if it needs it, so wouldn't be much different.
