Any good? I would be alternately using this with a Storm 2.

Here's the deal on Sidekick, it's a Microsoft device, formally from Danger. All of your info is stored not on the device, but on Microsoft's servers. Security issues lie in this. Just ask all of the T-Mobile customers how dreadful this is. Microsoft/Danger's servers crashed in the fall and people with sidekicks were SOL for weeks wait, hoping, for their data to be recovered. Is that really worth the hassle?

Sidekicks get a bad rap, but I used them for 3 years & I didn't think they were half bad. Would I ever go back to them after using a blackberry? Nope. But, they were a great "starter smartphone." I know many don't consider them a smartphone...but they had a lot of the same features that those associate w/ smartphones, & they were the first phones I used that had data capabilities. I also used them when I was in grad school to take notes in class. The awesome spacious keyboards were great for this. And, the screen on the LX09 was effin' amazing.

That being said, I don't think I'd recommend them to a new user now. A year ago? Heck yeah. But, they're being phased out after the Great Sidekick Outage. Plus, if you're a heavy BB user, you'd get bored quickly w/ the SK.
