sholes video?

y r there no videos of the sholes (droid) when it's supposed to be released in less than a month?!? There are all kinds of videos of the storm 2 and it has pretty much the same release date.

Don't get me wrong... I am loyal to my bb and would never buy a moto device! I just want to see the competition and what all the hype is about...

There isn't a confirmed release date yet. Oct 30th is rumored but so is mid Nov and Dec 1. Motorola may be keeping it under tight wraps and limiting access to the device.

Oh I am getting the droid. The bb os is just so outdated. I am excited about something fresh.

I think Motorola just keeps their stuff on Lockdown better. BBs are always getting leaked out and whatnot. If you look at all of the Sholes/Tao/Droid pics out so far, they are all of the front or the back. None of the side/keyboard. Even the CEO in the pic is covering the sides. I've read that the prototype serial number or whatever is visible on the side and there may be some sort of markings on the keyboard as well. This is why no one has risked giving out pics of these areas.

I can't wait for a video or better pics of this beast! Goodbye Storm!

The keyboard looks great. If you are referring to the space bar that breaks up the last row of letters, that was a prototype pictured. The actual keyboard is similar to the Storm's on screen. There are 3 rows of letters and a 4th row containing function/caps/etc keys and the space bar.

Trendy, look right above your post. There is a video now. It is of the boot up sequence (so fast compared to my Storm!) and it makes me happy in the pants.
