Saturday I bought a samsung jack for my daughter. Not a bad phone. A lot faster and more resposive than my 8310. Call quality is excellent.

The best thing though is I loaded the skyfire browser on it and wow is that cool. All flash sites and streaming video work. They really need to get that working for blackberrys.

The navigation buttons on the phone aren't bad but the berrys trackball is way better.

It was 100 bucks with mail in rebate and 2 year contract.

I don't normally like WinMo devices but the jack is pretty sweet, thinking of getting it for my hubby.

The Samsung jack is a real good phone..I purchased it and before the 30days missed my bold so i switched back..Am sure your daughter will enjoy it , also I was really impressed the quality in pictures I gotta say better then the 8900 or storm ( of course in good lighting since theres no flash) Here a picture I took when I had the phonehttp://..

a good wedsite for programs and games is xda-developers.com...alot of tweaks for the phone ..Enjoy

That's a nice picture indeed. I'm sure with skyfire the browser is loads more fun than my Curve. I looked at the jack for a while, looks like a real slick phone

Samsung Blackjack is a great Phone. In fact I used it as a backup (no sim card) to play games. I had two unit, one for me and for wifey. But of course i used my curve 8320 as primary phone

OP was talking about the Jack, not the blackjack or blackjack II

    Blows both of them away.

I got one intending on using it on my company line to replace this stupid touch screen samsung they stuck me with, but i have to wait a week for a new sim card, because mine is apparently locked to the other phone for some odd reason.
