Hey all!
so i decided to get a Pantech Duo!
im realy excited!
now il have to smart phones!
ima a Windows lover so mabe WM want be as bad,so i hear,
but i believe in tryin stuff for mah self.
i like love mah Pearl and soon will be testin out a Curve for a few days.
Mah friend Tiffany has a Crimson Curve and she think its broke cause its keeps deleting her call logs and text so ima fix it for her.
and keep it a few days! (evil laugh)

WMA is evil, sounds like Tiffany is just running out of memory, a battery pull might work. The curve is an awesome phone.

ya i know whats wrong with curve and how to fix!
she has a mem card and all.
you would think RIM would add more mem since they try to evovle into multimedia consumer blackberries.
but thats what peeps say bout Windows but i think diff.
so ima give WM a chance.
im already a BlackBerry SNOB!!

i had a Duo, i really liked the look of it and WM i had no problems with. I turned it in on the 14th day of getting it for my Curve.

The duo would only stay charged for 1.5 days, my curve is on day 2 with heavier usage.
Also the Duo the call quality was terrible, my Curve is 100% better than it.
This might have just been the phone i got and might not be typical of all Duo's, so i will just say Good Luck with the Duo, i really tried to like mine.

mah Pearl doesnt have impressive battery life like the curve.
i've only had 2 phones with good battery life and thats the pearl and the samsung thingy.
all mah phones before had bad battery life the worst Ampd jet and Nokia 6555 almost dead when i get home from school.
so long as i charge the Duo like i charge mah pearl (always on charge) and carry a travel charger then should be ok!
the BB OS Menus are a bit PLAIN!!
thats mah only complaint.
im a suker for 3g lookin OS

To me it would appear that "my" would be easier to type since "mah" is an extra letter..

In real life it may be easier, but not typing.

You don't have to type the way you talk!

Remember People judge you by the way you type, perfection isn't necessary but when you go out of your way, and make others go out of their way to think about what your saying, it gets tedious.

I am a current WinMo user until the Sprint Curve is release and I must say I am having a terrible time with my 6800. It was awesome when it was first release but now it has just been issue after issue, Sprint has replaced it two times. It restarts on its own and freezes more than the polar ice caps. The 8330 could not come out soon enough. But that's just my opinion. :-)

but any way i decided not to get the duo.
I'M GOING to get the RED Pearl 8110 instead.
i keep reading bad things about the duo and besides the Red 8110 is just plain "GORGEOUS!"

Good Choice-

I heard the Duo had a shoddy sliding mechanism that would break under heavy use.

And Knowing BB users, that would last no longer than a week.

I heard that the Helio Ocean was the big brother of the Pantech Duo, and that the Ocean has better build quality.

If I had to pick between the two and was not obligated to any contracts, I would go for the Ocean.

Glad you didn't get the Duo. Like the name, it comes "short" of being a good/stable device.
