So with the Palm OS being effectively shelved and Palm going over to Windows Mobile... the last we heard of Palm was the Centro. Now they have the Palm Treo Pro Does anyone have any interest in this or are they just one step closer to shutdown?

They are barely hanging on to the edge of the cliff... Only a small gust of wind is needed for them to fall.

Unless Palm does something radical, I don't see them surviving more than a year or two..if even that. All of their Palm OS devices have been rehashes of the same garbage in a new case.

I think it does (matter). The wm6, front keyboard is a great design for those who need wm6. There are still a few things I miss about it like logmein and pocket e-sword. But Palm may well be at the end of their rope.
