Default Nokia N900 questions

I am hoping to get the nokia n900 and just had a couple simple questions.

It has a notification light and I am pretty sure the colour of it can be changed. But I wanted to know if you can change the colour depending on the notification, just as you can with BerryBuzz.

Also, the n900's 3G frequencies are 1700 / 2100 / 900, and my carried Vodafone Australia I think runs on 900. So if I buy one of ebay from the US when it is released I should have no problems using it in Australia? Just want to be 100% sure

So who will be getting one, and when?

Not sure on the frequencies... As for the LED again not sure but, it's linux. Being a full linux phone it's only a matter of time before somebody programs something for it. I know Android is based on linux and it has apps that allow you to do that. Androids apps has been my favorite part of the G1, getting the full Maemo community and the baking of the Nokia fanbase the N900 will definitely get a lot of cool apps.
