Default Motorola Razr help!

Hey folks,

I know i know the razr is not a smart phone. But i finally got my mother in law to give in and get a blackberry. the ATT ***** was setting up her new curve and when they went to transfer her contacts from her old as heck Razr V3 they deleted them all. I had heard that Motorola phone tools could recover this data. so i installed it (moto phone tools V5) and plugged her phone it, and it told me the phone was not supported. This is the only cell phone website i trust and belong too, so im just hoping someone may have an answer for me. thanks!

It may not be possible to recover them if they have been deleted...

The good news, however, is that if she uses Google Synchronization, she'll never lose her address book/contacts again.

Your best bet would be to try using bitpim to see if the files were really deleted or not. Most likely, they were.

Where was the contacts saved?
SIM card or the phone itself? There may still be chance here.
