Yup yesturday afternoon I pre-ordered the Sprint Hero. Can't wait to get it next week!

I think its just fine actually the rounded edges probably make it more comfortable in ur hands.

I like that one a lot better then the EU version. I think that chin thing looks stupid. I preordered mine last week. Just a heads up I've heard rumors the if your a rewardzone member you can get it on the 9th. Just a rumor so far, I tried to call best buy and they've closed in my area for the night.

I was waiting on the Tour to come to Cellular South, but now they're advertising the HTC Hero! It seems like an exciting phone, and with Cellular South's Smartphone Plan, it's a great deal! So....I pre-ordered one today! Sorry Blackberry-(I feel so guilty)!!!

Pre-ordered my Cellular South HTC Hero on Sunday. There has not been mention of a concrete date for it's actual release... That I know of. I've heard Oct 17 and 23, but who knows? I'm very much looking forward to getting my hands on this device.

I just bought the tour on Sept 21st but I think I will be taking it back for the hero. That was my original plan but I kind of fail in love with the Tour, however still not being able to sync with my mac is making me love it less.

Just a heads up, I doubt many members are from this area but the traverse city Michigan store says it would be possible to get one two days early with reward zone however they aren't getting any until the 11th anyway. I would check your local store to make sure they will even have any in on the 9th.

I got my Hero yesturday, haha! And guess what, they allowed me to get it without a reward zone whatever card!

premier account is scheduled for renewal on my birthday (Nov 1). Can't wait to get this phone. But, now the Samsung is scheduled to come out so I'll have a choice. So far, it's been all Hero for me.

Man so far the Hero is such winner to me. It's UI is amazing, I just know the android market has even more goodies for me to enjoy later on.

Default Cellular South HTC Hero Coming in November, I Was Told
Cellular South representative emailed me today after I posted a question as to when the HTC Hero is supposed to be available.

She said she was unsure of the actual release date but that they were being told sometime in November...
