iphone 2g tmo

im pretty sure u can jailbreak a 2g iphone, and am wondering how it works on tmobile? is the 2g alot slower then the 3g? software wise and can you recieve/send mms with the software update?

I have a friend at work who is running his 3g on tmobile. He is sorta happy with it. It is do able and I dont think u have to Jail break AT&T n Tmobile I think are cousins. They run off AT&T some kinda way
