Default HTC Touch Pro2

I have att and a bold 9000. I like it, but looking for a bigger screen and the numbers on the keyboard since I am constantly typing numbers in emails and texts. At newegg.com

Newegg.com - HTC Touch Pro2 Unlocked GSM Slider Phones with 3.2 MP Camera /3.6"Touch Screen - Unlocked Cell Phones

They have an unlocked Touch Pro2. If I do buy it I have a few questions.

1.) The phone is unlocked, does that mean all I have to do is put my sim card in the phone and it will work?

2.) Will I need to go to an Att store to have my contact info switched over to the phone?

3.) Will I be able to upgrade to Mobile Win 6.5 or will that be a problem?

Am I missing anything else important?

You should be able to just pop your SIM card in and it should work. You could try saving your contacts to the SIM card first, if not you could sync it with your email client and then sync with the new HTC. I don't know if AT&T will do it because you didn't buy the device from them, but you could ask. You should be able to update to 6.5 with no problem. I believe they have OTA wireless downloads integrated into the device now. Good luck with your Touch Pro 2.

1.) Phone will work, but I believe EDGE Only - the european 3G bands used in the phone are different then the AT&T bands used on the Tilt 2

2.) You can sync your 9000 with outlook and then sync the touch pro 2 with outlook

3.) You will be able to upgrade. Checkout xda-developers dot com for help on that

I would just go on ebay and get a used tilt 2. This is a great device - really a pocket sized pc. You will want to enjoy the faster data speeds.
