Blackberry OS is kinda old looking in my opinion, its not really slick or pretty looking like the Iphone or Android.

Not sure about the S2, but I've had my S1 for almost a year, and I'm almost fed up... it takes like a minute just to unlock the device, with battery pulls at least once a day, and I do not run that many apps on it at all...

Ok... so...

Ive used the HTC Imagio for a full day, and I have to say it is very smooth and sleek! With that said, Im so used to my Blackberry OS, that Im not sure I can make the switch I may give it a few more days, but I love my BB.

As far as the HTC being better then the S2, I still take that stand. Although I prefer the Blackberry OS because Im so used to it, doesnt mean that the HTC Imagio specs are much better then the S2.

No. This is like the "Xbox 360 vs PS3" argument, where people say the PS3 specs are better, but there's like a million things on the xbox that people want. Specs don't always sell product and the PS3 is a glaring example of that.

Frankly, the Imagio isn't turning too many heads that I've seen. No one I've talked to has even mentioned it, let alone stomped their BB out of existence, renounced their faith in RIM and the S2 and ran screaming 'Imagio!' down the street.

What a lot of people don't realize is the 'Behind the scene's' features that the Blackberry OS offers. The Security of Blackberry's OS is FAR more superior than ANY other smartphone on the market. Just do a google search and you'll see what I mean. Its not all about how flashy a phone or its OS is, its the quality that is put into the OS running the phone. As more and more people start to do mobile banking on their phone, the more and more people will realize that they need a phone with a more secure OS.

mr.s4ndm4n, please give us one specific detail of security that is better on the BBOS than WM6.5 - for regular, non-corporate users. I.e. BES policies that give the company better control don't count - that is not relevant to those of us who are buying phones for our own personal use.

Do you actually know anything, or are just repeating what you "heard" through the Intertubes?

If you use Opera Mobile 9.7 + opera turbo, that is definite security issue... Other than that there probably isn't a glaring amount of difference for average consumers.

Another possible issue would be requiring Seven beta for push email on multiple accounts, which is a 3rd party solution. Storing email on a 3rd party server + a forced international sms on setup is a bit of a security problem.

General amount of malware on WM is much higher than any other OS. Of course you'd have to install it, but installing a bunch of .cab files is pretty standard for average consumers.

WinMo 6.5 rocks, NO lag! 3.6-inch WVGA touch screen, a 528-Mhz Qualcomm processor, 512MB ROM, 256 MB of RAM, and support for GSM along with Verizon's CDMA/EV-DO network. Features TouchFlo 3D!
Supports Vcast mobile TV, Vcast multimedia! Has wifi and EV DO Rev. A,
3.6-inch WVGA touch screen. GORGEOUS! Animated weather on the home screen, push email, accelerometer that switches the screen from portrait to landscape mode when you rotate the phone, also, full QWARTY touch keyboard very similar to iPhone.

That's just a few of the features, I might be in love! Here I thought I would never leave bb, well...... might sell my Tour and keep the Imagio
I was going to comment on this a while ago, but wanted to see what other people would say. Honestly, I can't be the only one puzzled by the fact that Alenee supposedly "tried" the Storm2 and done her research, yet is amazed by Imagio's accelerometer, push e-mail, and most other things that are on the Storm2...

"Yeah, the Storm2 has an accelerometer, but the Imagio has an accelerometer!!!" ...

i try to take a back seat to arguments but surprised no one else has noticed that during this whole roasting.

"push email, accelerometer that switches the screen from portrait to landscape mode when you rotate the phone, also, full QWARTY touch keyboard very similar to iPhone."

I don't know about anyone else but wish my storm could do those things. Its hard to type without a full qwarty keyboard.

There's no way the stock rom has zero lag with wm6.5 on 528mhz...

Custom rom I could maybe buy that, but not stock with animated weather version of manila.

I was unaware that the HTC WinMo 6.5 had these features.

When u say more secure? Meanig the back and forth communication has encryption? Less able to hack and get your information? That is a factor to consider......
Thanks
