Default htc

So RIM are worried, nokia are worried and apple is worried. I am (currently) a very pee'd off S1 user, looking forward to getting my hands on the nexus one. Anyone else making the jump?

I wouldn't count RIM out man...when the Storm 1 came out, it was probably better than what HTC had, actually I know it was bc I had a touch diamond and it sucked. RIM is going to keep making great phones and elevating with the competition. The storm 2 is loads better than the storm 1 and I know even better is yet to come. Hang in there man, although the nexus will be pretty nice I'm sure

I haven't seen anything anywhere that states that ANY of those companies are worried about the nexus one coming out. I would really like the opportunity to get to play with a nexus, but I don't plan on jumping ship for it.

Storm 1 was good? RIM makes good phones?

WTF are you smoking, and WHERETF have you been?

The Storm 1 was the biggest joke imagineable, and BlackBerry's have been RIDDLED with hardware faults lately.

The Storm 1 sucked compared to HTC's offering of last year. And still does. The 2 is decent. Just because enough people put up with it, because of its a "Berry" doesn't make it better.

Agreed about the Storm1 being absolute garbaggio. BUT...I'm not making any jump anywhere. I love my 9700 and am happy that the software and hardware is working properly.

Hi, I had a htc magic as a spare phone. It was a very very good phone. The only thing wrong with it was if you got emails which had pdf attatched, you could not open it up unless you had a google account. Apart from thatwas excellent. The storm 1 I had was the Worst phone I ever owned. I will never get another rim touchphone. I love my 8900, ultra reliable. Love keyboard. Competition is good out there. Let's face , rim can't compete with iphone and htc, but bberi is a business phone not an App phone.

Actually from a lot of reviews with the nexus one it seems only ok. BGR actually wrote a personal opinion just bashing on it. There will never be a perfect phone, but I have to say my 8900 is near perfect. Just out of curiosity what did you have before the S1?

lol. The Storm definitely was a big joke. And yes BBs have been having terrible build quality issues lately. This guy definitely seems to have not been around for the past year and a half.

Yea he's bashing Android not the N1. Only says the screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight, and that the lack of multitouch is frustrating. I'm pretty sure BGR praised the Droid in his review.

I keep hearing about the build quality of BBs being poor, but I haven't seen it. Maybe I have just gotten lucky. I'm a long time BB user and haven't had any issues with any if my devices. I like the looks and concepts of the new devices coming out, but I really don't see how they are so much better than BBs. It actually seems like a tradeoff in many aspects. You trade advanced messaging capabilities for advanced multimedia capabilities, battery life for better GUI, better overall compatibility for better Google integration, better email for better browser. I don't think that any of these devices are any better or worse than any other device. Its dependent upon your side of the trade-off. Just my opinion. By the way, the 9700 is a great device, haven't had any problems with it thus far.
