Help jvm error 547.....will not reboot correctly and not recognized when using apploa

I tried to follow directions about using apploader and hitting next while phone was disconnected from computer and then it would reload my software. Not working and tried several times. Does anyone know how to reload the darn software on a nuked or lameduck blackberry. I had this phone almost a year and this crap happens. Very very frustrated. Basically saying jvm error 547 and when you hit reset the red light comes on but that is it. Tried several times via this crackberry board to follow someones directions and i have some technical skills but the directions did not work.
