Default HD2 Processor Help?

I am on AT&T and love the specs of this phone, just look and sounds like the best out.
Anyways, how would it be on AT&T's network?
Just had a Storm 2 and got rid of it because it was sooo slow on EDGE, when driving I could hardly use the internet, most of the time I didn't use it because of it being so slow.

So would the snapdragon processor in the htc hd2 help with internet speeds at all? Would it because faster then the storm 2 on EDGE ?
If not it's not worth it, a smart phone needs to be 3G, IMO!

Jon

Processor is only going to affect the rendering speed, it has nothing to do with the actual network speed.

They are two distinctly, different factors and not related.

Also I don't think the HD2 supports AT&T's 3g frequencies anyways, so it would also be EDGE only. If you want 3g, get a phone that supports AT&T 3g frequencies.

Gotcha, also I know there is an Hd2 that supports AT&T's 3G, but it runs 700-900.

AT&T phones are garbage only decent one is the iPhone and I would never buy one.
What phones support AT&T's 3g?
Is there a list lol

AT&T uses 850 and 1900mhz for UMTS (NOT GSM, gsm is not 3g).

So you have to look up the UMTS frequencies on whichever phone you are looking at.

Arn't we impatient. It's slow, like 20 kbps slow. It's barely useable.

Dude, I know what you wanted. I suggest you should give a shoot to see hows unlocked HD2 running on ATT and if you weren't happy nor satisfy with HD2. You can return it and get fully refund.. thats simple..

let us know how turn it out..
