So I had a 9700. Decided to buy the HD2. The web didn't work half the time. Always a server error message. The phone froze up from time to time and I had to do battery pulls to reboot it so it worked. Anyone else had these problem? Other little things I missed about 9700 so I returned the HD2.

I have a 9700, I had an HD2 in for less than 24 hours before I sent it back, basically because of all the problems you've mentioned. My HTC Desire arrives tomorrow, and I reckon having android on board should make all the difference.

Had the HD2 for a while. Got shot of it. Such a beautiful piece of hardware destroyed by Windows mobile. The desire is awesome. Much easier out of the box. The HD2 is a very good handset and will improve with each subsequent update. At the moment though its not quite there.

had my hd2 for 2 weeks and not had any trouble. this is the best phone ive ever had. windows is so customizable. i love this phone.
