Default G1 Owners - a little help please!

Obviously there is no memory leak issue with this phone since apps stay on in the background - whether you want them on or not!

How do you turn off the music player??? Mine has been on since I got it yesterday but is on pause! I can't turn it off and no one at T-Mo knows how either! Help!

there really isnt a way to turn any apps completely off, that might be why their batter life isn't so hot. what i do is press pause and home key, i guess that pretty much hibernates the music player. a way to completely shut if off would be to turn it off and turn it back on. hopefully tmobile and google will release a software update to fix the problem

They are going to have to do something about the battery issue. Its annoying. My wife has one and has to charge it 2 a day if she is off work and using it a lot.
Some people are so open minded their brains have fallen out.

Yeah that can be the reason as said before the battery isn't good. Because apps can't close out
