Can Anybody Help Me Out Programing a Firefly Mobile Phone?

I bought a used Firefly MObile Glowphone - the original one - bean shaped - holds 20 numbers - designated Mom and Dad keys. I bought a new sim card for it so I know the phone works. It can receive calls - I know this because I've called it several times. However - I can't program the MOm and Dad keys or enter numbers into the phonebook because those are PIN protected functions. I need to know how to reset the PIN in this phone because when I enter the default PIN "1234" it tells me "wrong pin".

Any insight or help you can offer will be deeply appreciated.

P. S. - No - I'm not switching for BlackBerry. This phone is for my 5 year old granddaughter. LOL! It's pink and it's really cute too.
