I know from what I been doing and playing around and getting to know the phone is getting better each day this is sweet. This is what I need since I'm on the go alot in spring, summer, and fall. Always boating, camping, fishing, and hunting and now I don't need my laptop to bring just dig in my pocket and got world in my hands LOL!!!

I know all these smartphones/bb's battery do go fast. I would think alot of it is how much you talk, surf, and having wifi on. For me I turn my phone on 5am go to work and come home I still have juice and phone is fine. Also I might play around for a hour on it fliping threw stuff since I'm new to it. Yes battery goes down some. I always here these people cry about battery life. I guess it would depend on your life style. I don't talk much and don't down stuff and etc. So from 5am to 6to 7pm it's on then I'll charge it up tp be safe. I guess most people would put a dent in their battery life compare to me. I'm so happy with this phone and being new to all this, this is sweet. Anyways no hurry for any updates I'm happy and of course whatever new updates come out I'll get it to have.

It's an android phone, so you might get more hits in the android forum.

Let me know what you think of the device because at first glance it doesn't seem like it will be much.

I tried the Backflip for about a month and ended up going back to BB. I went from a Bold 9000 to a Backflip...then to a BB Bold 9700.
Waaay too laggy for me and I had almost no apps on it. The keyboard left a LOT to be desired. Im a HUGE texter so I need a good keyboard.
The design? I never got used to it. I always wanted to close it like you think a flip phone would close.
The phone would shut off in the middle of almost every call so I just didnt talk on it. It was a cute little gimmiky phone but not right for me. Rather bulky too.
Long story short...I spent a small fortune to go back to BB.....I am happy I did.
That being said....
I have a month old Backflip with 2 cases if anyone wants to buy from me?

The Backflip lags when you have motoblur running with all that garbage on the screen. Hide that BS and it's a lot smoother.
