allteln htc touch pro....on verizon??? there has to be a way to do this....

Ok so my wife has a blackberry tour 9630 on verizon. I have a friend who has an alltel branded htc touch pro and we are wanting todo a complete trade. I called verizon and was told that the phone will not work on verizons network. Why can alltel customers use either alltell phones as well as verizons phones??? Is there no way to get the alltell htc touch pro to work on our line on verizon???

Check with a different Verizon person first. Verizon now owns Alltel so it is possible that it would work.

Also, the HTC Touch Pro is a Windows Mobile OS phone, not a BlackBerry OS phone. If this is an OS related issue (probably not) you could try getting answers at the Crackberry sister site wmexperts.com.

Or treat your wife to a new phone instead of that outdated Touch Pro, which in tech-life is probably at least 3 or 4 years old already. For a new and modern upgrade, think what she might do for you tonight...

Lol haha. Well all I have to trade is the blackberry tour on verizon. Idk what tha phone is worth or what I might be able to get for it. What's the htc innovation?

What I meant to say is that I don't have any extra cash so I would be looking to trade this phone for another smartphone on verizon. Any suggestions???
