WINDMobile launching Dec 1, 2009?

Monday has been quite the day for WIND.

First, WINDMobile reaffirms that they're not going to sell-out, which I'm inclined to believe since they have spent a year talking with Canadians. They wouldn't do all that just to get gobbled up by Rogers and have their ideas crushed into oblivion.

Then later on, TheMobileNinjas posted leaked info about a guaranteed launch date!!

Of course, without any source listed or any details really (so to "protect" WIND, TMN claims), it's very hard to believe. However, they're still training and hiring new employees and continuing with the completion of stores.

The only thing that gets me is Tony Clement's decision, this source apparently seems confident he'll overturn the CRTC decision. Highly debatable.

I want WIND to launch, I also want WIND to be majority Canadian owned.. too bad it's so hard to do :/

I really don't care about Canadian ownership. Canadians are weak, we RELY on foreign investment.

Protectionism shouldn't exist under capitalist markets; if your product or service is inferior, then bow out.

That said, this is an issue that Parliament will have to deal with thoroughly irrelevant of WIND's possible launch.
