I would say FIDO is cheapest of the four, but their phone selection is limited. If you have an unlocked BlackBerry, FIDO would be the best choice. Otherwise, you'll have to stick with the big three if you want a subsidized phone. They're all essentially the same with very minor differences in the plans. I'd recommend getting a pamphlet from all three and comparing the features.

Check out Koodo mobile. They only have the Curve 8530, but the two BlackBerry add-ons they have out at the moment are pretty decent.
I'm with them, and I'm paying $41/mth for my BB with the Talk & Text Combo, Caller ID, and the BlackBerry Social plan.

I'm on virgin and they have a decent selection for blackberry. The 9100, 8530 and 9700. They're owned by bell and have almost the exact same plans BUT the customer service is far superior to that of bells and the other day they had some insane promo going on that gives you unlimited incoming and outgoing calls for the first 6 months plus a few other things.

Go talk to a rep there, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
As an extra heads up I have the blackberry combo 50 plans and it gives me:
500mb data
250 anytime minutes
Unlimited night and weekends at 7pm
Free incoming long distance (if your in your local area and its a weekend or after 7 other wise its taken off your anytime minutes)
I also believe I get unlimited email and im (not sure)
Voicemail ( I think, I haven't set mine up anyways)
unlimited text, picture, video messaging (or your choice of something else)

However caller display is not included.
As a plus you can change your plan once a month free of charge.
I'm happy with it.

I've also used tethering (via the tether app) without penalty charges although it eats through my data.

At the end of the day you'll have to do your own shopping around as every one needs different things. Best of luck, I hope I was semi informative

Default Sasktel!!!

...hee hee which you can only get in Saskatchewan, unless you throw on a North American plan but then you get dinged data roaming charges outside of Canada. Here's what you can get in the dustbowl of Canada:

(until August 16th, when the UMTS/HSPA+ network launches, when they get the 3G Pearl and Bold 9700 as well)

Tour 9630, Curve 8530 (only black or purple), Pearl 8130 (YES! THE 8130 haha, but it's only 150$ to buy OUTRIGHT in Amethyst, Red, or Titanium), Pearl 8230/Flip in pink or black, and the Storm2 9550.

Data Plans are available separate (with other features and voice plans added on) or in Feature Plans (with voice plan added on)

2MB = 15$
1GB = 25$
3 GB = 60$
Unlimited = 75$
People generally only purchase those plans if they are planning to tether. Otherwise they get a feature plan:

25$ - unlimited texting, call display, voice mail, and unlimited emails and bbm
25$ - unlimited texting, call display, voice mail, facebook, myspace, twitter, and a bunch of messengers (including ICQ HAHAHAHHA)
40$ - unlimited... all of the above... plus web
These plans are not capable to tether.
There is also a plan with just emails and bbm for 15$ but no one who wants any amount of texting goes with that plan.

...I'm kinda wondering how this compares across the board? Keep in mind, on Sasktel, the lowest voice plan costs 27.08 plus taxes (tho that includes the system admin fee)
