Wait a bit until reviews start to come out, I'm actually looking at this device also.
So I'm curious to see what the reviews are also.

I have no doubt it's worth it... an android 2.1 prepaid device at $25/month.. I've been looking for an option like this for about a year.. Just wanted some feedback because virgin internet can be unreliable at times..

I guess that depends on how Sprints coverage is in your area?
Also, do you know if this device is going to receive Froyo?!

I don't think its actually available for purchase yet. Also it will surely be $35 a month like the Blackberry, $10 extra for data plan.

Makes me mad cause I just bought my BB 1 month and 4 days ago (few days past my return period now!) from Best Buy. Had I known the Intercept was coming out, I would of bought that instead.

It's available for purchase in Target, but not online yet.

Ugg, big no no - no LED notification light. WTF? Thought this would be standard on all smartphones nowadays.

I now have the phone... it's great except i can't get most calls or texts with the weak coverage in my home... works everywhere but my home.. it may be because of the Rev. 0 antenna.. I'm thinking of switching to the VM BB 8530. With that i'll atleast get BBM and can use it through WiFi. Not to mention the Rev. A antenna should help reception within the house. I Will miss the free google nav, voice input and cheaper monthly plan.. but it's a sacrifice im willing to make if i get better in home coverage... and BBM. Unfortunately there are no other decent, cheap android plans on any network... But i guess at 25 a month.. the coverage you get is what you pay for.

Not sure exactly sure what you were getting at but just a FYI, my VM 8530 does google nav(without audio directions however) and voice input via Vlingo or google mobile app.

I had the samsung intercept and now I got the blackberry for vm here's the deal the samsung isn't designed as nice (doesn't fit in ur hands as well keyboard isn't as nice) and the os isn't as smooth but the internet is faster cuz u can download the opera browsert and it works well. U can download the opera browser for bb but the cursor works so bad with the bb trackpad its unusable. Problem is the bb browser is hella slow. So if u use the internet a lot I'd suggest the intercept if u do more email and texting and busniss productivity go for bb, oh yeah I forgot the intercept can b hooked up to ue computer to get internet off the 3g for free I think u gotta buy a program for 25 or 30 to do it on bb and for bb u gotta pay extra ten bucks u don't gotta pay for samsung
