Text Messages going to old phone

not sure if anyone can help me here or not but I Switched from an old regular samsung flip from a few years back to a Blackberry, but sometimes if im in a Radius of the old phone (which is now being used as an alarm clock) some texts will go to both my current phone and the old Samsung, anyone have any idea how to fix this? i'm with Bell and i asked them about it awhile back and they were just confused saying it shouldn't be possible.

Just go into a bell store and have them program the phone back to standards with all 1s instead of your phone number it will stop
