Default SIM card question

I have a brand new, still in the box Curve. Can't remember the exact model, whichever the most recent one is. The phone was sent through Bell, but has not been activated, visibly branded, and has no SIM card (although a Bell SIM card was mailed along with it). It appears to have come straight from RIM and the only evidence that bell was in contact with it was the card the mailed with it. My question is can I remove the SIM card from my Telus Curve 8330 and use it in the new Blackberry on the Telus network? I know it isn't possible to use a Bell phone on a Telus network and vice versa, but I thought maybe in this case it may be since the new phone has never been turned on, activated, or had a sim card installed. Any info would be great!

The 8330 is a CDMA device and can only be used on the carrier that it was designed for. Only gsm/hspa device like the 9700 can be unlocked and used on different networks.

You need to have a SIM slot on your device for using SIM cards with it. only GSM or CDMA/GSM (CDMA with a SIM slot) devices will work with GSM sim cards.
