receive international texts

I'm with Virgin Mobile in Canada and my family in the UK can call my CB and I can call and text them, but if they text me I receive nothing!

They can text my wife on her Roger's PAYG but not me.

Family in UK are with Airtel (Vodafone) and Cable & Wireless.

Any ideas?

I texed my cousin in Portugal (vodaphone) and she replied to me however i did not receive any reply and I am with Virgin as well.

I know with Bell Mobility incoming international text messages are free if you have the minimal $5 text package.

with Virgin also. Can receive text from Australia but can not reply. The answer from Virgin was that they did not have an agreement with Telstra in AU
