Default Random Question Re Telus Voicemail Alerts

Does anyone know if everytime i get a a text notification saying i recieved a voicemail that this goes towards my text mesesnging bundle? If so, How do i turn this notification off? I see the icon on my phone i really don't need a text message as well. Hope this makes sense. thanks

Incoming messages never count towards your message quota; one never pays for incoming, so you have no worries. And as far as I know you cannot turn the message off, although telus may be able to do something for you if you speak to them.

Pretty sure you can't turn off the voicemail texted notification, ive tried, but if anyone does know a way to do this-would be appreciated

You can turn text messages, if you want by goint to mytelusmobility.com , login, send a text (top right), Settings (under text message field), and choose which text messages you don't want. (incoming, outgoing, from e-mail, from web).

All messages you receive, except those coming from websites/e-mail are free.

So your voicemail alerts are free.
