Default newbie here; can i bring a bb into virgin?

want to bring my own bb into a new, cheaper carrier plan, to save $$ instead of purchasing new one from the carrier.
how is it done? will they allow it?

Carullo is correct.

Any Bell Rogers or Telus BB will work on Virgins HSPA+

That includes fido, koodoo, solo and chattr
