Default New To Virgin Mobile

So I have successfully ported my old number from Sprint to Virgin Mobile. I had a couple of questions though:
1. Does porting my number automatically cancel my account with Sprint? I went into a Sprint store yesterday to terminate my contract, and when I told him I had ported my number to Virgin Mobile, he said that my contract would be terminated automatically and I would be billed the early termination fee and whatever other charges.
2. How I do I pay my Beyond Talk $35 plan? Should I let them bill me automatically, or can I pay it online manually?

Hey there Dark..

I believe when you port your number over, it automatically cancels your contract and if you ported over before your contract was up, you will be assessed a termination fee.

As far as paying for your beyond talk plan...

When I had Virgin Mobile, I went to the website and set up paypal as an authorized payment type and then manually payed it each month. I believe there is a way to have it go on auto, but I never did it that way. I preferred to pay it manually.

You can pay manually with top up cards, paypal, CC. I let them take it out monthly, its just easier.
