Default Metro Clonning

This is for educational purposes only, but I have a question:

To clone a metro phone to a sprint Blackberry 8703e, you would just change the esn on the blackberry to whatever the esn is on the metro phone; then dial ## and then the spc code to change the first 2 lines of that editing screen over to the phone number that is on the metro phone? Then just load the prl and add the service books? Is there anything else to do? I hear this isn't everything. Is there some other way you need to change the phone number on the blackberry? Maybe with metro or sprint? I'm not trying to commit cell phone cloning fraud like the law prohibits. I'm just experimenting. Both the phones are mine. Your help is very much appreciated.

Don't think you should mess with that stuff if it is as illegal as you say. Even if its for personal use what good is it too you if you can't use it and feel calm that you aren't going to get into some trouble. Only way I would think this would be of use to you is if you work for some sort of high up law enforcement and if that where the case they'd probally show you anyways. Either wise if you learn the technique and aren't in the above stated situation your going to end up with itchy fingers if you catch my drift. Get into hybrid o/s's I don't think that's illegal could be wrong though.

How ignorant are you? CDMA doesn't use a SIM card. If you have a world phone you get one but it only works fully on GSM networks overseas. It will work on U.S. GSM providers but you won't get full 3G service, and it does NOT work on any CDMA providers. You can not unlock a CDMA phone. A Verizon branded CDMA phone will never work on Sprint and vice versa. You CAN flash a CDMA phone to work on a service like Cricket, but flashing and unlocking are two different things.

I think YOU need to stop talking about things you obviously know nothing about!
