Metro PCS BB 8330m Price Drop - Coming Soon?

I have it on good authority that Metro is planning to drop the price on their 8330m by a significant margin. This is likely due to the fact that Metro recently introduced the Samsung i220 Code WinMo Smartphone which duplicates many of the 8330's features for $100 less. Also, the introduction of the $300 no plan 8520 at T-Mo with 3g may be playing a part too. The individual I spoke with said the price drop will be between $50 - $100.

Would be a good thing if it was true. However the TMO 8520 doesn't have or use 3G and last I checked the actual cost per month of TMOs prepaid BB plan hasn't been announced and judging by their current plans probably wont be as cheap as Metros Unlimited Everything for $50 plan.

Got more info that it is going to be a $100 instant rebate on the 8330m!!! No messing with the mail in, etc.

Yeah - Metro does not have it - But it is a VERY cool phone.

Its at 299.00$ now, which I think is a price drop from 399.99$
Metro just got one new smart-phone & two normal phones today; check there website.

Yep $299 with an instant rebate - metro has gotten several new phones in the last two months - no new smartphone today though - The Huawei M750 isn't a smartphone (but a VERY nice touch screen nonetheless) - and the Code (WinMo) has been out a couple months now -
