So, does anybody know when Metro is going 4G? Anytime soon at all? Are they doing anything good with their network... So I can get their new curve 8530 lol

Soon. The towers down in Florida are in the process of being upgrades. However, there is no official launch date. Metro learned the hard way that rushing things to meet a deadline results in poor service and years of bad reputation. They'd rather get everything working 100% and THEN announce a deadline, to ensure good performance.

That being said, the 8530 does no have the right Antenna for a 4G signal, as far as I know (though I can't 100% this until I know what band the 4G signal will be on).

Hello all. I have a Metro PCS 8530. Will any upgrade by Metro PCS to their network help current users? I hope that soon we will have browsing speeds at least comparable to the other providers.

Yes, 4g is coming to Dallas and Las Vegas in Sep
So I read on other forums. Supposed to be coming
Out with a new phone the Samsung craft LTE its going
To run on a new network the first in the world and
All that jazz. Its all hearsay nothing official yet
