HALP 1st bill with virgin is NUTS!!!!

hey guys im new to blackberries n all so i decided hey ill give one a shot. went to my local Virgin Mobile booth here in canada n picked up a blackberry curve 2. Anyways im on a plan that gives me 500MB data...well

i got my bill in n i listen to slacker radio for about 2 days then i stopped due to work. any ways...got my bill...661 dollers in DATA USAGE FEES!!!! WTF!!!! says i used 50.0000MB and 82.6934 MB....now i thought a MB was made up of 1000KB.....so this added properly i shud have only used...132.6934MB..correct? am i wrong here sum how? now im not over on any of my minues of texts n such JUST my data...is wut the bill says...

any ways i requested more info on my bill n got this....on one day feb 18 i used 131.8242MB of RIM data what ever that is for....is this RIM data not free??? or is sumthing on my blackberry using my data without me knowing it?

I suggest you get on the phone to Virgin. Sadly, no one here can do anything about the bill, out of our hands. But something is not right there in your billing. 1024kb is 1MB and 132.6MB is what your total is if you wrote that correctly. The only thing I could see possible is that you were prorated for your use and went over it.

Check your origional contract that you signed. My guess is that they didn't have you actually hooked up with the 500MB plan and simply billed you per kb. Call customer service, explain what happened.... and hope you can get it sorted!
