fido question transfer

This is a question my dad told me to ask, He has a motorola old phone prepaid with fido hes had it for 4 or 5 years, he is wondering if he could get a blackberry with a lot of minutes and some messaging and for him to check e-mail, any good plans for that? And the main question can he transfer his phone number from his pre-paid phone to a plan?

He will have to call fido (611 from his handset) and speak with them about his want/needs in a plan, they will price accordingly.

Also he can keep his pre paid #, and just upgrade his plan to post paid.

Fido plans depend on where you are, like a city fido plan for being in a more urban area vs a normal plan. These are things he will have to discuss with a csr.
