Default Curious .. how much data do you Bell users average?

Hi all,
I will be getting the $30 unlimited BB plan with Bell, however my BF is wondering if he needs that much since he doesn't plan on doing much browsing. He wanted me to check and see if any of you guys know what the difference is with the 4MB, 8MB, and Unlimited are in terms of how much a person uses their device. In other (hopefully less confusing) words .. if he were to go with one of the cheaper options and not the unlimited .. what does that give him for usage freedom? Thanks in advance!

thanks for your reply .. wow .. thats alot .. lol. but what does that translate to in terms of usage per day? my bf just wants to get/send a few emails here and there .. maybe check something online once in a while. he has no interest in messaging via BBM or WLM ..

He doesn't NOW- but wait till he has it in his hands and realises all the cool stuff he can do (granted...a lot he won't be able to do because it's Bell...)

4mb and 8mb are nothing on a BB...any plan under 300mb just isn't worth it, because you know you're going to go over.

If he wants a cheaper option and doesn't want to use the internet perhaps start him out on the 15$ email/IM plan...then he can use email and BBM but nothing else. Or Switch to Rogers or Telus and get one of their bigger usages for less money...which would be my move...I'm so not a fan of Bell.

And I use about a gig a month.

Rogers is not cheaper, it's more. With Bell you get $30 unlimited data and with Rogers for $30 you get 1GB.

I have used an average of 99MB/month for first two months of having a Curve. And I'm sorta glad that I got the unlimited internet plan...even though you can't subcribe+use the Windows Live Messenger plan on it.

However, I purchased IM+ (3rd Party Instant Message Client), and that works for me for MSN.

You have to call in and get switched to the new $30 unlim data plan for MSN to be activated.
