Default Bold 9700 on Sasktel's HSPA/UMTS

Picked up my 9700 on Monday on Sasktel's new network... First impressions, amazing phone, super fast, beautiful screen, beautiful to hold and type on, LOVE IT!...

Network first impressions? Coverage seems pretty good in Saskatoon so far (a small area around Circle mall is spotty, south end where I live is good) Call quality unknown (as I'm on a different, and higher quality phone) And the data speeds, don't seem very impressive.

So... Sasktel claims their new 3G+ to be 4X faster than their existing CDMA EVDO data speeds... well so far, I wholeheartedly disagree. My old S1 was only slightly slower with browser speeds / upload / download, compared to this Bold on the "3G+" (the wifi is different story though, smokin fast).

Has anyone else noticed this? is the 3G+ a bit overblown in terms of speed/strength/etc ?
