blackberry sprint flashed to METRO PCS

hey quick question about fully flashed blackberry. i have one with internet and pix msg. um am i able to update the OS on the blackberry desktop manager or will that mess everything up? also i want to put aim on it. any way that is possible without messing it up?

I'm pretty sure you can update the OS without any problems. As long as you have a working BB data plan aim should work too. Although I don't know if Metro PCS has a BB data plan..

You'll need to contact the person who "flashed" the phone for you - to my knoweldge there is no way to "officially" flash a BB device to MetroPCS as BB is not supported in the official flashing software (Houdinisoft), so it was done some other way, and I doubt you are using the BB plan on Metro, but rather just their regular all inclusive plan. I now that if you Houdiniflash a phone to Metro, and then flash a new ROM, or do a master reset, the phone will be restored back to the original carrier settings. Let me know how it goes - Thanks!

mine is.... it was fully flashed a couple of months ago... i changed my number and now i can't get mms or internet at all... what can i do?

i have a blackberry 8530 and for some reason the wifi doesnt work, i heard that there are a few steps to make it work, does anyone know how to?

How do you un flash? I'm trying to go back to sprint but idk his to get rid of the flash. Do u just do a software update?

Hey guys i have two blackberries with metro one of them is sprint blackberry 8530 and another one is the verizon blackberry bold .

the internet just stopped working and giving me error message saying :
( Unable to Connect ot the internet, please try again later )


and on my verizon blackberry bold it saying 3G on there

any solution please?

I had seen this Fully flash your Blackberry phones to metropcs OTA Flashing Metro pcs on Craigslist.org , they will do it OTA ( over the air ) no matter where you are, all you need is your BB phone , USB Cable for the phone , a Computer with Internet access and blackberry Desktop Manager Installed[/QUOTE]
