Default All Boost People That Want Their Black Berry To Work For Boost

hi i am new here but i have to tell you i got my BB 7100i a few days ago still cant figure out for the life of me how to work it, but i ended up meeting this guy after a lot of searching what he has is this CD that allows u to put any phone(that has a sim card reader) including blackberries on the boost mobile plan and will make everything work on it as well. when i got my 7100i all it did was make calls it wouldnt even receive them.

Now after talking to him for a few minutes not only are all my features working on my phone even all the blackberry apps, and mms messaging, there is no need for a 3rd party provider, there is no need for randomly downloading service books that prolly dont work. he was the original writer of the workingservicebooks.ipd, so yeah and he guarantees his stuff, he will also repair your phone with a new lcd or a new speaker instead of having to deal with those people at ur phone store that wont work on your phone cause it is too old ppl. but send me a PM and i will get you connected if interested

I was fiddling with my 7100 the other day and finally got the gps to acquire satellites. All i did was go into options-> location based services-> click thumbwheel and choose "reset firewall" then "refresh gps". It acquired satellites and reported its position within 3 minutes.

I have 2 blackberries fully functioning on Boost right now ( my 7520 & my wifes 7100i) with the native browser, full MMS capabilities etc, and I will soon be upgrading to the 8350i, and I can testify that those non-working service books do, in fact, work. About 20 minutes at your desktop computer, (unless you need to upgrade your OS) and it's done.

As for the poster who asked about which phones work, you are limited to three, the models that I listed previously. GSM based phones do have a sim card slot, but they are based off of a different technology than boost (which is iden based) and therefore aren't compatible

P.S.> It's my MMS,not SMS that I'm having problems with.Called Boost CS,they said thier network was down & I'd have to wait for it to be corrected.

Unless your Curve is an 83XXi a SIM card will not work. The "i" stands for iDEN network. The Curve 8330 is strictly CDMA.

Not true. Boost Mobile's network is iDEN and CDMA. This is why the Curve 8330 (a fully CDMA phone with no SIM card slot) and Curve 8350i (an iDEN based phone) both work on BM networks.

I've seen this time and time again. Some people argue that BM is iDEN only are not well informed. I'm not attacking you Unreconstructed at all. I'm just stating at fact I've discovered from reading through the forums.

The BB Storm is a GSM and CDMA phone, which does take a SIM card. However, GSM cards and iDEN cards are completely different and cannot be made compatable. I'm going to Get my Strom working on BM if it kills me!
